Services

The types of cases we handle include sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, family leave act (CFRA), race, national origin, religious, age, sexual orientation, and disability discrimination.

With regard to disability discrimination, anyone who is either injured and on workers' compensation, or is otherwise temporarily disabled, cannot be automatically terminated by their employer. Rather, the employer has a legal obligation to attempt to "accommodate" a disabled employee by returning the employee to his or her old job or assist the employee in finding a "light duty" position with the company.

Our firm also handles "whistleblower" cases where, for example, an employee is fired because he or she complained about unpaid wages, unsafe working conditions, labor code violations, reporting of employer/co-employee criminal activity or other unfair business practices.

Attorney's Fees:

Our cases are generally handled on a contingency basis which means that the attorney's fees are paid when a successful recovery is obtained for the client. In most circumstances, our firm also advances all of the litigation costs so that the client does not have to spend any money out-of-pocket in order to proceed with the case.

We never charge for an initial consultation and we encourage anyone to contact us in order to discuss an employment problem.
