Stephen Ebner, a Los Angeles area attorney, began his career more than 20 years ago as a civil litigator with a small firm for two years before branching out on his own in 1986. At first, Steve handled a diversified law practice in the fields of personal injury, medical malpractice, probate, real estate, business litigation, police misconduct and family law matters. Prior to becoming an attorney, Steve worked for several large, well known insurance and retail companies, thereby gaining insight into corporate policies and practices affecting the treatment of employees.

Beginning in 1989, Steve began to focus his area of expertise into the practice of employment law, handling cases involving harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination. Presently, his law practice is one that exclusively represents employees in employment discrimination cases. Throughout the years many of the firm's cases are referred by attorneys who do not practice employment law.

Steve prides himself on helping employees who, unfortunately, are often taken advantage of by the employer. Steve says, "Having worked in the corporate environment, I have firsthand knowledge into the manner in which large companies sometimes unfairly treat their employees. I am vitally interested in protecting the civil rights of employees who have been harassed, discriminated against or treated unjustly.
